Money on the Bookshelf Program

Embark Credit Union’s ‘Money on the Bookshelf’ reading program is a great way to get young readers excited about money!

Part of the Explorers Club Program, Money on the Bookshelf consists of 10 books with stories on different financial topics ranging from saving to spending to earning money, and is available to youth age 5 – 11 at the Credit Union.  When a child completes all 10 books, along with the answer sheets, they receive a $25 deposit into their Explorers Club Savings Account.

Additionally, Embark has partnered with the Great Falls Public Schools to bring the program to 3rd grade classrooms in the public school system and plans are in the works to bring the program to the private schools in the near future.  Completion of the school program entitles each child to a $10 Barnes and Noble gift card.
